Porch progress✨ still missing half the furniture Porch progress✨ still missing half the furniture, need to replace the flooring and door (and completely gut and remodel what’s BEHIND the door 😅) and maybe reupholster the cesca chairs... but I’m liking how this room has evolved! All of the cozy cabin vibes on this snowy day ❄️ feeling happy about my decision to NOT paint the wood in here, do you agree?
Live on the blog: our kitchen design plans! The fi Live on the blog: our kitchen design plans! The first round, anyway 😜 sharing our plans for cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, layout, and more. Our previous kitchen was all-white, and this one is going to have a verrry different feel! I’m taking notes from this stunning kitchen designed by the talented @whittneyparkinson 😍 Plus, I created a 12 page COMPLETE guide with everything you need to consider for your own kitchen remodel. If you have a kitchen remodel (or new build) planned for the future, you’ll want to at least take a peek at this guide. Believe me when I say there is SO much to consider, and it can be very overwhelming! I did my best to break down every part for you. I’d love to know- have you done a kitchen remodel? Did you design it yourself or work with a designer, and how did it go?
Oh hi, it’s been awhile 👋 I took some time of Oh hi, it’s been awhile 👋 I took some time off for the holidays and have been focusing on our reno plans. Yesterday on stories I gave a full tour of our main floor and discussed the plans that we have so far for our renovation. I’m currently working on a blog post going into depth on our kitchen reno, and wanted to share this inspo via @highstreethomes, designed by @brettandkara! It’s been at the top of my list of inspiration for our kitchen, and our layout will actually be somewhat similar to it, with the addition of a sink wall to the right. Black countertops, warm wood tones, greige cabinetry... all of the yummy things I want to incorporate in our own remodel! Would you do black countertops? Tell me below!
Merry Christmas Eve to you all! It’s a white Chr Merry Christmas Eve to you all! It’s a white Christmas here in MN and my heart is happy. I never did get the tree decorated... I ended up loving the minimal lights-only look. Let’s go with that anyway 😅 I’m so excited for the changes that will come to this space in the next year... but quite content for the time being ☺️ hope you all have a cozy, peaceful, and happy holidays!
What if I told you that these photos were taken in What if I told you that these photos were taken in the exact same spot 🤯 as I reflect on 2020, I can’t believe what we accomplished. Somehow this year felt like eternity but also flew by. We put the pedal to the metal on our basement remodel and got it done in July and then sold our home in August. We’ve been in our new home for 4 months now (what?! How?!). I took on more client projects and my free time dwindled to basically nonexistent between working at the hospital, client projects, and our own home projects 😅 2020 wasn’t ALL bad, as it turns out. As I look to 2021 there are lots of new goals on my to-do list. One of them starts here on the ‘gram- being more present, sharing MORE projects and behind-the-scenes details! What’s a goal you have for yourself in 2021, and what would you like to see from me? I’d love to hear!
Happy Saturday! Today on the blog I’m sharing al Happy Saturday! Today on the blog I’m sharing all of the plans for our knotty pine three season porch makeover. These gorgeous inspo images are a hint at what might happen to the wood... or not 😉 we’ve already been slowly making furniture and fixture swaps and it’s feeling better already.
